12/1/2023 0 Comments Neutrogena hydro boost sunscreenLuckily, this is less of a guessing game than you might think. After all, it's all going to end up on your face anyway, right? But when you devote time (and money) to improving your skin, the order you apply things in matters. This is a high maintenance sunscreen that sadly won't be my HG.How you layer your skincare products might not seem like a huge deal. However, those days are far and few between. In summary, I might be inclined to use this on days when I have ample time to do my skincare routine and allow products to fully dry before applying it. Fifth, although it claims to be non-greasy, I actually felt like the sunscreen had quite a greasy feel. I didn't notice any facial irritation, but this might be a better body sunscreen. Fourth, there is a noticeable amount of fragrance. Second, it balled up badly when I applied the sunscreen over any other skincare products that had not 100% absorbed into my skin. First, it stung badly when I applied it around my eyes, which often happens to me with chemical sunscreens. For me, this sunscreen is mildly hydrating, but it also has some serious drawbacks. I found the texture to be pleasing and slightly cooling on the skin. read it over skin it goes clear and gel-like. It comes out of the tube as a light blue lotion, but when you sp. As someone with oily & dehydrated skin, I was also intrigued by the moisturization claims. I always choose broad spectrum & SPF 50 sunscreens, and had high hopes for this one becoming a HG product that I would want to wear every day. It is the type of sunscreen I've been looking for hence the 4/5 but I think there's room for improvement here, I definitely think this sunscreen has more potential! Read complete review Overall if you're looking for a gel formula sunscreen for an affordable price I think this is a good product just be wary if you have sensitive skin as it's not non comedogenic and if you have oily skin this is very oily and greasy. Also I have super sensitive skin and can't use products with fragrances, dyes, etc (which is why I like the hydro boost for extra dry skin as it's fragarence and dye and oil free and non comedogenic) this sunscreen unfortunately doesn't offer those same benefits and although it didn't irritate my skin too much, I could tell my skin was a little bit more red and not 100% comfortable with it If you're familiar with the hydro boost gel creams it's more runny than that but still gel like.Ĭons: it says that it's non greasy but my face was a oil disaster after putting it on, I immediately used some blotting oil pads which helped but if you have oily skin this unfortunately won't be the best for you. I can easily wear this without feeling caky and I like that it feels very similar to what a gel cream should feel like, it's hard to believe it's a sunscreen. It's also very lightweight and am impressed that it offers SPF 50. Pros: it's not like normal sunscreens that leave the white casty look and are sticky, I really dislike that. I also have very sensitive skin and have been liking the hydro boost line, the hydro boost gel cream for extra dry skin has been so good to me and I love it so much and have been waiting for them to release. Background on me: I have combination skin (part of my face is oily and other parts are dry).
